Last week, I wrote about the process of billing a UPS shipment freight collect for this customers with UPS accounts. The advantage of this is that you do not need to pay additional freight at checkout for expedited shipments. Since last week's entry, there has been an update that makes it easier for you the customer.
We now have a button that you can select to bill shipments UPS collect (see above). It is VERY important that you follow all instructions including entering your UPS account number and service type (next day air/2nd Day Air/UPS Ground) in the order comments or your order will not ship. As an example, you can see that the next day air comments and UPS account are entered in the example above.
As written in a previous blog, please make sure to pay attention to the availability line on the product detail page. If it says "ships in 2-3 business days," unless you speak with a sales representative, most likely your order WILL NOT SHIP. By speaking with a sales rep, additional arrangements can be made including increasing the quantity of the order.
