We're into the heat of the summer months (at least here in the Midwest).  And we here at ASMC Industrial continue to be as busy as ever. 

Today's article is focused on something we've been getting a lot of requests on recently and we wanted to share with you some of the additional services we offer that are not listed on the website.  

While selling fasteners in bulk carton quantities is our specialty, we can also accommodate and quote additional services for those customers in need including: 

Plating: For instance, let's say that you have a stainless steel fastener that you want plated in a black oxide finish.  With that part being very difficult to find off the shelf, how ASMC can help would be to have you purchase the stainless steel parts in bulk quantities, send them off to our plater, and then have the black oxided parts sent to you directly.  We can also have parts zinc, nickel and other high corrosion finishes done as well.  Please get in touch with someone from our sales team to inquire about the cost of these services.

Chamfering: Sometimes customers come to us because they are looking for a metric part that is a certain length, however that length is not a standard size.  One option is to order the size in a longer length, then have the parts cut down and chamfered to the size the customer needs.  As an example, if you needed the length of a part to be 122MM long, you would purchase a 130MM length part and have it cut down to 122MM.  

Drilling: Along with chamfering, we can also have a specific diameter hole drilled through the head of a screw.  So you would purchase the base material, we would send it off to our supplier, and they would drill the hole per your instructions/specifications.
