Preston asks: I am looking for a specific type of washer and I see that you have both SAE and USS listed on your website.  Can you tell me what the difference is between the two?

S.A.E. Flat Washers were developed and specified by the Society of Automotive Engineers to meet the requirements of automotive manufacturer applications as broadly as possible

United States Standard or USS Flat washers were developed to satisfy engineering requirements in the majority of industrial applications in all fields of manufacturing, maintenance and repair. The Outer Diameter (OD), Inner Diameter(ID) and Thickness (Th) specifications were developed to meet the broadest possible number of applications.

Anna asks: How do I tell if an item is domestic or import?

If the item is domestically made, it will have a USA in the description.  If there is no USA found, then the parts are imported. 

Phil asks: I just placed an order on the website, and I see it has a ship date of 2-3 days out.  Is there any way that the item might ship sooner?  I really need it.

Hi Phil, in cases like this, your best bet is to pay for expedited shipping if you need the part in your hands by a certain date.  By choosing the free standard shipping option, the time frame for delivery is anywhere between 2-10 business days.  That being said, as soon as we have the parts in our warehouse, we get the items out.  In some cases, you could receive the item earlier than what is indicated on the order confirmation email.
