Amy asks: I was looking at one of the items on your website and it doesn't mention if the part I need is partially or fully threaded.  In the picture, there are three screws with three different thread lengths.  How do I know which one will work for me?

Great question Amy.  When needing to know how much thread is on a bolt, we recommend using our "Bolt & Screw Thread Length chart."  Once you are there, you match up the diameter with the length of the bolt and it will tell you the amount of thread.  You can access the chart by clicking here

Brandon asks: I was looking for humped cotter pins on your website and I was unable them.  Do you sell humped cotter pins?  I need something that I can get on the shelf if possible.

Thanks Brandon.  For humped cotter pins, there is a worksheet that we need filled out in order to be able to quote.  We would get a price from our manufacturer and the lead time on these would be in the 16-20 week lead time.  If you would like a copy of the humped cotter pin form, please contact us via phone, email or LIVECHAT. 

Ronin asks: I placed an order and realized that I actually need a different size that was what originally ordered.  The part I need is actually more expensive.  I see it hasn't shipped yet, are you able to make the substitution over the phone and have me pay for the difference?  Or do I need to have the order cancelled and then place a new one?

Hi Ronin.  Unfortunately, we are unable to do a direct substitution once payment has been made on an order.  As long as the order hasn't shipped, we are able to cancel it and then you can re-order the parts you actually need.
