Hope everyone enjoyed Super Bowl Sunday.  With a lot of people off yesterday and not many questions submitted to the blog (please submit all questions to: moshita@asmc.net), I decided to wait until Tuesday to launch this week's mailbag.

From Peter: I submitted an order and selected free standard shipping at checkout.  The item has not shipped yet and   However, now I need the item expedited to me.  Am I able to change the shipping method on my order?

Thanks for the question Peter.  Yes, you are able to upgrade the shipping method provided the item has not left our warehouse and you haven't received a tracking number.  Please contact our sales department ASAP via phone (888-660-0334) and speak with one our representatives.  Have your payment method and how you want the item shipped ready when you call.

From Robby: I received an email from you guys about an item being out of stock and that the part may be backordered for several weeks.  I still need the fasteners to complete my project.  Any alternative options to waiting?

Hi Robby.  If this happens, please contact one our sales representatives and speak with them.  Most of the time, if you can accept a substitute item in a different finish (i.e plain instead of yellow zinc or zinc instead of plain), we can find an alternative that will work for you.  Also, if you can take a longer or shorter length of the item, we might be able to help as well.  The most important thing if you need the item sooner, is to talk with us about it and see what options we might have for you. 

From Andrea: I'm confused about something.  I'm looking at an item on your website, and it says, "ships within 2-3 business days."  Does that mean that is how long until the item arrives to me?  

Great question Andrea.  And one we get every once in awhile.  The 2-3 day ship window is how long it will take us to ship the product from our warehouse.  It does not mean 2-3 days until it gets to you.  Some items have a 1 business day ship window.  Every one is different.  If it is important for you to have the item to you by a distinct day, please get in touch with us via phone or email.  We can help you get the items in you need in the time allotted.
